Rez Sisters was performed in the summer of 1986 which was based off seven women who lived in a reserve and ultimately wanted to live a better life for their family and friends. They decided to do this setting out to venture off to Toronto to participate in "The Biggest Bingo in The World". Not all of the females were related by blood but they had a special bond and all have heir own unique characteristics but at the end of the day they treat each other as family.

The intrusion is the announcement of the bingo tournament. This is where all the action and the adventure/conquest of the play begins.

The unique factor is the day the Rez Sisters decide to embark on the journey to Toronto for the Bingo tournament.

The characters want an opportunity to go to the bingo tournament for freedom from the reserve so they can live the well deserved life they seek and the obstacle is actually getting there. They endure many triumphs and offsets that don't allow them to get their such as lack of funds and transportation/living arrangements.

Nanabush- this was the spirit of the Native American culture that only Marie Adele and Zhaboonigan can see.
Rez Sisters- represents the sisterhood within the seven females as well as the bond within themselves that can't be broken.

The family in this play is either connected via marriage or blood. They all have different personalities and specific usages with which they would allocate the bingo money to.
